Highly reliable, multilayer pipe combines the corrosion-resistant benefits of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) from Lubrizol with the strength and durability of aluminum to offer the ultimate piping system.

The three layers (CPVC/aluminum/CPVC) are bonded together with an adhesive specially formulated to achieve a pressure rating of 100 psi at 180°F (400 psi at 73°F). Like the company’s other CPVC products, FlowGuard® Multilayer pipe is completely resistant to the oxidative degradation of chlorine.

The multilayer pipe is ideal for a variety of residential and commercial plumbing applications including:

Water service laterals
Building supply
Rough plumbing service
Seamless, joint-free runs

Our pioneer multilayer product is FlowGuard Multilayer Bendable pipe:

Meets the ASTM F2855 certification
Is a unique, layered construction (CPVC-Aluminum-CPVC) composite pressure tubing with a welded aluminum tube reinforcement between the inner and outer layers.
