Hurricane Resistant framing systems designed and engineered for single span storefronts, low to mid-rise ribbon window and punched opening applications.

  • IR 500 is 5" deep and has a 2-1/2" (63.5) sightline
  • IR 501 is 5" (127) deep and has a typical 2-1/2" (63.5) sightline and a 2-3/4" (69.9) sightline at intermediate vertical mullions
  • Screw spline fabrication
  • Center glazed
  • Outside glazed with an internal silicone seal
  • IR 500 glazing options are 9/16" (14.3), 5/8" (15.9) impact resistant and 1/4" (6.4) non-impact
  • IR 501 glazing options are 1-5/16" (33.3) insulated impact resistant and 1" (25.4) non-impact
  • Integrates 350 IR Medium Stile single or pairs of Entrances
  • Tested to meet current codes requiring protection of openings in wind borne debris regions.
