Rooftop HVAC Units that Offer Efficiency and Reliability

Many smaller buildings rely on rooftop units to control the temperature of the building. But not all units are created equal. Johnson Controls takes rooftop HVAC units to the next level with the Series 5 single packaged units.

The Series 5 provides optimum comfort and reliability from a single packaged unit. Although the HVAC units are primarily designed for curb mounting on a roof, they are highly customizable and can also be slab-mounted at ground level or set on steel beams above a finished roof.

Cooling only, cooling with one or two stage gas heat and cooling with supplemental electric heat units are available with a wide variety of field-installed accessories to make them suitable for almost every application. Every HVAC unit is completely piped, wired, charged and tested at the factory to simplify the field installation.

The Series 5 offers:

• HFC-410A Refrigerant for environmentally responsible operation
• Cooling efficiency is 13 SEER and heating efficiency is 80% SSE
• Cooling capacity: 3 to 5 tons
• Heating capacity: 40 to 80 MBH output
