Louver Model EA-520-D shall be fabricated to provide a minimum of 44.3%, 7.08 square feet of free area for a size 48"x48" louver and bear the AMCA Certified Ratings Program seal for Air Performance, Water Penetration and Wind Driven Rain. The ratings shall show a beginning point of water penetration at .01 ounces per square foot of free area to be above 1250 feet per minute, 8850 cubic feet per minute, with .21 inches water gauge pressure drop at 1000 feet per minute air intake. In addition, this louver is tested to wind driven rain test standard, AMCA 500-L-99, where the louver is subjected to simulated wind driven rain. The result of this test, for a 48"x48" louver, shall show a class "A" rating at 3 inches of rainfall at an intake velocity of 1133 feet per minute, 8022 cubic feet per minute, at a wind speed of 29 MPH, and a class "B" rating at 8 inches of rainfall at an intake velocity of 1307 feet per minute, 9254 cubic feet per minute, at a wind speed of 50 MPH. Arrow United louvers are available in custom sizes. Louvers are offered in horizontal blade orientation.
