The Autodesk® Seek Content Operations team will guide you through an easy, 5-step process to create BIM-ready product models. The process typically lasts 8 - 10 weeks, though this timeframe can vary depending on the individual company, its products, and its needs.
- Kick-Off and Planning Meeting Our knowledgeable team will meet with you to review the creation process, understand your needs and objectives, and formulate a plan.
- Product Information Gathering Once you've gathered detailed product and design information for each product you wish to include on Autodesk Seek, our team will provide a free content analysis and consultation and guide you through the next steps.
- Model Development The Autodesk Seek Content Operations team will engage our network of highly skilled, certified Autodesk Seek Content Service Providers (CSPs) to convert your product information into BIM-ready product models that are fully compliant with the Autodesk Revit® and AutoCAD® families of software products. These CSPs can also create files compliant with one of the industry–leading visualization tools, Autodesk® 3ds Max®.
- Review and Approval After reviewing your files, we will place your new content and their corresponding Autodesk Seek product pages in an online staging area where you can review them, provide feedback, and approve them for syndication once they're final.
- Syndication After you've reviewed and approved your product pages, we will syndicate the models through the Autodesk Seek web service.
